Jason Co is a first generation Chinese American, who is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, and is applying his multilingual skills, life experience as an immigrant and financial expertise to help Asian American millennials reach their financial goals.  This session will explore how Jason's background is helping him work with this demographic group.

As a person, I strive to be kind, honest, and respectful toeveryone I meet. I believe I have a good sense of humor, which I hope comesthrough on my website and in our conversations. When you partner with me toplan for your retirement, you can count on your voice being heard andunderstood.

I earned my B.S. inEngineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology,graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012. I completed the education program at theUniversity of Georgia's Terry College of Business and currently hold theCertified Financial Planner™ designation.

Prior to launching CoPlanning Group, I worked as a Portfolio Consultant for TD Ameritrade InvestmentManagement (TDAIM), where I advised on over $110M for over 200 householdsnationwide. At TDAIM, I also assisted Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking clientsin their financial planning and investment management needs.

I see myself as acommunity builder and started a Young Chinese Professionals Group in 2018 andorganized monthly social gathers because I realized I need to take it uponmyself to find and build a community of my own.

I pride myself onbeing very involved in raising my 3-year-old son, Logan, with my wife of 10years, Lan, who is from Fujian, China. Together, we love taking our son onplaydates, to the Magic House, and all the kid-friendly activities that St.Louis has to offer.
