In the Season of Giving, we will focus on financial planners’ unique skills to help nonprofits thrive. Nonprofits depend on donations and grants for their income. LGBTQ+ organizations have seen a substantial drop in giving, threatening their ability to serve the community. We will discuss the current state of giving to these organizations and present a strategy that you can use to engage with nonprofits and to help them create a strategy to attract charitable donations and grants. We will also discuss ideas on how we can support their donor appreciation and education efforts. Our knowledge and skills can help those organizations maximize their impacts and focus on what they do best: helping the community.
