Self-study exam based on a thorough understanding of articles that include the topics of: Types of investment risk; Quantitative investment concepts and measures of investment returns; Portfolio development and analysis; Client and planner attitudes, values, biases; Principles of counseling; and General principles of effective communication.
After reading and understanding the two articles required for this exam, the planner will:
- Understand the intricacies between value- and growth-focused ETFs.
- Correctly position clients’ portfolios based on their risk tolerance because similar ETFs can have large differences in exposure.
