Mindy began her finance career with Fidelity Investments in 2011 before joining Modera in 2018. Not only does she provide comprehensive financial planning to her clients, but she also works to educate other advisors on the planning nuances within her target clients groups. As an LGBTQ+ financial planner, she has actively worked to make other planners aware of the importance of active allyship and serving the community.
Prior to joining the financial planning field, Mindy worked as an in-home therapist for children with autism and their families for 3 years. This firsthand experience has been pivotal in her ability to serve the special needs community through financial planning.
Mindy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM professional and a Charted Special Needs Consultant®. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology and a minor in Spanish from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Mindy is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and has earned the NAPFA Diversity, Equity, Inclusion(DEI) certificate. In 2022, Mindy was awarded NAPFA’s Inspiring Leader Award. This award is presented to a member who has established a record of encouraging, motivating and engaging others in reaching their full professional potential under the auspices of the Association.
