This session provides investment professionals and investors with a deep dive into the unique challenges for LGBTQ investors and identifying ways that LGBTQ investors can empower themselves financially using a seven step plan.

  • Our EMPOWER the LGBTQ+ Investor seminar focuses on educating financial intermediaries on the LGBTQ+ investor opportunity set, providing insight on the size and growth of the demographic.
  • Our seminar also focuses on educating financial intermediaries with the unique circumstances, challenges, and priorities that LGBTQ+ investors typically face, so as to better inform financial intermediaries on the value they might be able to provide.
  • Our seminar also educates financial intermediaries on effective ways to reach and serve the LGBTQ+ community, with insight on how to stay up to date, how to establish an inclusive online presence, and how to advertise to local LGBTQ+ communities.

Kevin Healy leads GSAM’s efforts in aligning all the resources of Goldman Sachs with the leading independent financial planning firms.  Over his 30 years in financial services, Kevin has focused on helping financial advisors build their practices on behalf of Goldman Sachs Asset Management and other leading asset managers.  Kevin also serves as Captain of the “Old Boy’s” side of New York’s leading inclusive rugby team, The Gotham Knights Rugby Football Club.   The team’s mission of inclusion is to increase diversity within the sport of rugby.  Gotham is a member of the International Gay Rugby League.  Kevin is also the founder and General Partner of Rugby Daddy, LLC.  Kevin is also an Associate Producer of “Tina!  The Tina Turner Musical.”
